what are some good halloween party foods, no alcohol?

i need a dessert, and savory appetizer, and one fruity non alcoholic cocktail. Please include recipes.
haha not a cocktail, a drink

Some good candy for Halloween are: Candy Corn and you can get regular flavored or caramel apple flavor which has red and brown color, candy pumpkins, pumpkin lollipops, tootsie rolls, bubble gum etc.

I know one good snack my older sister makes is what we call puppy chow it’s little wheat square things, and powdered sugar and chocolate which is optional you can look up a recipe on the computer just type in puppy chow or go onto Food Network.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A dessert could be: pumpkin pie, and/or a chocolate cake with vanilla or choc. icing!!

A savory appetizer could be: chili and cornbread, little shishcobobs with steak or meat, squash and/or zucchini and potatoes:)

I’m so sorry I can’t think of a fruity drink, but I can think of a website you could go onto for a delicious fruity drink recipe which again is Food Network.com it’s got great idea’s and recipe’s or you could go into the search box and type in good party food idea’s NO ALCOHOL!!!!!!!:) Good luck and I hope I helped:)

How come Michael Jackson can't reinvent himself like Madonna?

I was born in 1981, I was young, but I remember the HUGE phenomenon Micheal Jackson was. Most people born after 1986 probably only remember him from all the scandals.
He was the king of pop, and he’s career is long dead.
Madonna came from the same time he did, she was the queen of pop. But I remember Madonna from when I was a kid, when I was teen, and now.
Madonna keeps making videos and music that people actually listen to.

Why can’t Michael Jackson do the same? His career completely died.

Well the media has not had it out for Madonna and a lot of people are so gullible that they believe everything the media says about Michael Jackson! He really doesn’t need to reinvent himself because he is great just the way he is but when he releases his new album people will listen to his new music!

What movie had a virtual reality game in the shape of a pink blob thing?

It had a scene where someone made a gun out of bones found in his food, and they had to plug the blob thing into their belly-buttons or necks or something. I remember bits and pieces from when I was a kid and I can’t seem to remember what it was.

eXistenZ (1999)
starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jude Law, Ian Holm, Willem Dafoe, Don McKellar, Callum Keith Rennie, Christopher Eccleston, Sarah Polley
IMDb synopsis:
Allegra Geller, the leading game designer in the world, is testing her new virtual reality game, eXistenZ with a focus group. As they begin, she is attacked by a fanatic assassin employing a bizarre organic gun. She flees with a young marketing trainee, Ted Pikul, who is suddenly assigned as her bodyguard. Unfortunately, her pod, an organic gaming device that contains the only copy of the eXistenZ game program, is damaged. To inspect it, she talks Ted into accepting a gameport in his own body so he can play the game with her. The events leading up to this, and the resulting game lead the pair on a strange adventure where reality and their actions are impossible to determine from either their own or the game’s perspective.

u-unique
y-young
the rest i don’t know go on dictionary.com and find some words and look them up that might describe her a little bit
marshimaro1993 | Mar 21, 2007

K – "keen intelligence"
U – Unities States citizen and patriot, Unitarian in church affliation
X – Excellent mother and wife
Z – zealous
Y – Yoked to her husband whom she dearly loved and admired, "It was a marriage of the mind and of the heart"
that’s all I could come up with

(-: I was going to say you have a very sadistic teacher, but it sounds like this is self-inflicted. I see your problem — it’s unlikely that Abigail Adams was either Klutzy or Zany. Or Yellow-bellied.

Maybe you could cheat and say she was x-tremely resourceful — I’ve seen some alphabet books cheat that way (like Barney’s Alphabet food book, which featured X-tra sharp cheese).

Thank goodness she was born in Weymouth and died in Quincy, eh?

OK, here’s some serious stuff. Young Abigail was often sick, according to this about.com article. http://womenshistory.about.com/cs/firstl adies1789/a/abigail_adams.htm She also "urged" the declaration of independence with "zeal" (along with her husband. Also, given her lonely childhood, it seems "unlikely" that she would have become one of the prominent American women of her age. And she was a woman of great "keenness and sagacity."

Good luck on your book — she was a great lady, and I hope you get a great grade!

Sea Tragedy or last man standing- NFL Death/Murder?

Anyone find it odd that there was only one spot on that boat for someone to sit, and there was one survivor, and that survivor has told multiple and conflicting stories about what happened on that boat. I find it suspicious, I’ve never heard of men behaving the way this guy says the others did in similar lost at sea situations.

Everyone continues to say that it just don’t think Schuyler could have done anything wrong. Yahoo just published more info on the home page about one of the men throwing punches he does not specify who an on top of that just says that all three of the others willing took off
Life jackets and drifted to sea. As the story unfolds more details will emerge. I was in the shower last night and thought that maybe he would come out with a tell all account of what really happened that night. The story keeps changing and changing.

I find it to be real disturbing how he told Will Bleakly’s parents that he held him until he died. Then the story that Bleakly saw a light in the distance and swam away. Story just keeps changing.

butterflycovergirl | Mar 17, 2009

I don’t think that guy killed the other men on the boat, but there could be other sources of foul play like pirates. I’m serious about the pirates. I remember seeing a story on TruTv about mysteries murders off the coast of Florida.

At the same time, the sea was rough the day they went out. The guy might not be familiar with the sea.

very friendly, that’s the point in going clubbing!
iainmackay85 | Jan 24, 2009

You could just tell her. Or just be around her all the time making it clear you want to be with her all night. Be caring, and look after her. If it’s going good, kiss her and see where it goes. :)
Ally M | Jan 24, 2009

aww tell her u luv her
xxbabyemxx | Jan 24, 2009

just be yourself, and keep it simple..if she doesn’t respond, then don’t trip, find somebody else. Life is too short to trip over ANYBODY..just be YOU…no frontin…no bullshit. if it doesn’t happen naturally, then it’s not meant to happen..
Adam D | Jan 24, 2009

just be relaxed and really chill. let her talk more than u do.
but make soem light fo the situation by making some jokes. and poke fun at the night so she can be relaxed.
always make a woman feel comfortable and ure golden.
act like shes just a friend. and that ure best friends.
later in the night u can get more wild if u want. and let loose.
jaedacoy | Jan 24, 2009

Cool but distant.

You weren’t clear about whether she was in the group you are going with or you expect to see her there.

Smile at her, nod. Don’t approach right away, play it cool. If you get the chance, offer to buy her a drink and make small talk. Compliment her, but in a general way. Make eye contact occasionally only.

Don’t ask her to dance first. Dance with a couple other people, but never more than once if you can. Ask her maybe in the middle of the night assuming she is still available. See if she will go somewhere quiet with you to rest and talk.

The Club is not the best place to make a move on a girl unless you are a baller.
stn1225 | Jan 24, 2009

i would greet her and talk a bit and ask to buy her a drink…and talk a bit…but roam…and come back.ask her to dance…more drinks
something fishy | Jan 24, 2009

well you look for her in the crowd of your friends and go up to her hold out ur hand and say care to dance and start going from there.. if songs over say wanna get a drink or whatever but you have to make the initiative… and a bit of looks more than usual will show her your intersted.
good luck.

you should keep pretending that u not fancy her…but just make eye contact for quite a while once or twice…
dont do more than that if youre not sure shes attracted to u.
good luck
